Relocation process

For real estate clients looking to relocate to the Wausau Area, I provide the following services:

• Email introduction of relocation services, including questionnaire concerning their specific needs.
• Personal phone interview with the clients to better understand the needs of their family, ages of their children, interests, pets, services they find important, points of interest, home parameters including price range, if the children will be coming on the tour (if yes, tour will be scheduled accordingly) and how much time they have available.
• Community tour customized around family’s needs. Clients receive a Wausau area map for reference. Tour encompasses points of interest including recreational, arts, churches, neighborhoods, schools (preschool and daycare, as necessary), shopping and fitness. Within this route, clients will view homes that fit the pre-determined needs and preferences of the family, including homes in established neighborhoods and new home construction. Highlights of the greater Wausau-area tour include:

 

• New home construction planning. Assist clients throughout new home construction process, including serving as liaison with General Contractors, advice concerning floor plan design, and selection of doors, windows, countertops, fixtures, flooring, lighting and paint.
• Advise client concerning re-sell value of their new home, based upon market preferences and trends.
• Rental assistance. Work with local property management companies and real estate agents to locate appropriate properties. Placing rental posting on Craig’s List and within local print/internet services.
• Area demographics. Clients receive statistics concerning schools districts, crime rate, community involvement, volunteerism, area business, and employment.
• Profiles of others areas of interest. Provide clients with clear routes to and attractions within easy reach, including Minneapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, Green Bay, Door County and the Northwoods.
